ASISA Industry Transformation Report 2026

The Association for Savings and Investment South Africa (ASISA) has released its fifth annual Industry Transformation Report, Transformation that Works: Evidence, Impact and the Road Ahead. The report reflects on the industry’s collective transformation progress since the implementation of the Amended Financial Sector Code in 2017, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities to accelerate meaningful and sustainable transformation across the financial services sector.

This edition of the report features an impact story about Nassar de Kock (page 93), a recipient of a Citadel tertiary bursary, who went on to study BComm in Economics and Finance at UCT and has since joined Citadel as an employee.

Financial literacy

We created a 10-module programme aimed at high school learners, which promotes financial literacy amongst the youth. The course was also converted into printed workbooks, which have been distributed to over 57,000 learners at 58 no-fee-paying high schools across the Western and Eastern Cape, Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal.

Our communities

“Reach Out” days are when employees have the opportunity to actively engage with communities close to their hearts. Previous projects included upgrading of school facilities, care packages for kids and their families, and giving of our time.
