Sipho Nkosi

Sipho Nkosi is a trailblazing South African executive celebrated for his visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to ethical business practices. Coming from humble beginnings, he earned degrees locally and completed an MBA at the University of Massachusetts Boston. Nkosi began his career at Ford Motor Company and went on to lead Exxaro Resources and Eyesizwe Holdings, where he played a pivotal role in transforming the mining sector. His influence spans energy, finance, and telecommunications. A passionate advocate for education, sustainability, and youth empowerment, he continues to champion green innovation and inclusive growth, leaving a legacy that inspires leaders across Africa.

Zingiswa Losi

Zingiswa Losi is the first female President of COSATU and also leads SATUCC in the SADC region. She serves on the ITUC General Council and the ILO Governing Body. With qualifications in media, business, and development, she is a leading voice in labour rights and international union leadership.

Dr Anthony Costa

Dr Anthony Costa is the Head of Secretariat for B20 South Africa, based at Business Unity South Africa (BUSA), where he leads preparations for the 2025 B20 Summit. He previously served in the Private Office of the President of South Africa, heading the President’s Investment Mobilisation Programme and contributing to key public-private initiatives. Dr Costa is an admitted advocate of the High Court of South Africa and a former member of the Johannesburg Bar. His career spans strategic roles across government and business, with a focus on investment, collaboration, and national development.

Geoffrey Qhena

Geoffrey Qhena is a seasoned executive and board leader with deep expertise in finance, governance, and industrial development. He began his career at KPMG and held key roles at Eskom, Transnet, and the Industrial Development Corporation (IDC), where he rose to CEO. Qhena has led transformative initiatives in economic empowerment and sector innovation. He currently serves as chairman of the board at Exxaro Resources and chairperson at Telkom. His board experience includes Acerinox, Foskor, SAA, and Investec Bank. Known for his strategic insight into climate and energy economics, he brings decades of leadership and governance excellence.

Maarten Ackerman

Maarten Ackerman is Citadel’s Chief Economist and Advisory Partner. He leads macroeconomic analysis and advises ultra high net worth clients. With a master’s in Econometrics from the University of Pretoria, he has lectured at top universities and worked at the Bureau for Economic Research and Peregrine Quant. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments.
