Trudi Makhaya

Trudi Makhaya is a South African economist,entrepreneur, and writer. Born in Hammanskraal,Gauteng, she holds degrees from the University of the Witwatersrand and Oxford University, where she was a Rhodes Scholar. Makhaya has worked at Deloitte, Genesis Analytics, AngloGold Ashanti, and the Competition Commission of South Africa. In 2015, she founded Makhaya Advisory, focusing on entrepreneurship and competition policy. In 2018, she became President Cyril Ramaphosa’s economic advisor, the youngest in South Africa’s history, leading efforts to attract $100 billion in investment. She also serves as an angel investor and non-executive director in various organisations.

George Herman

George Herman is the Citadel Chief Investment Officer, with a career spanning banking, stockbroking, and fund management. He leads asset allocation and performance strategy. George has completed fintech and digital asset programs at Oxford, Helsinki, and UCT, and represents Citadel on ASISA’s Investment Board.
